Bent Group has Great Showing at Annual Race Against PH

Axel, Mie, and Stacey all take home medals.

For the past several years, the Bent Group has been participating in the Race Against Pulmonary Hypertension, a five kilometer charity race held annually on Stanford campus. But this year was the biggest showing yet, with more than 12 Bent group members and friends running, walking and jogging their way around campus. Three members even took home metals, with Mie and Stacey both receiving first place in their divisions and Axel taking 2nd in his with a run time of 19:21. Congratulations to them, and to the rest of the team, for their effort!

Pulmonary Hypertension, or PH as it is otherwise referred, is a potentially fatal form of high blood pressure that affects the lungs and heart. More information about the race and disease can be found at the race's webpage.
