Sanzeeda, Bang, Genni, and Alex presented their work at the annual AIChE Conference in Boston, MA.

Sanzeeda presented cryo-XPS for pristine SEI analysis, ALD ZnO coatings to suppress Al corrosion, and ALD-inspired electrolyte additives to stabilize lithium metal and improve cycling. Bang showed MnO_x ALD overlayers enhance PtCu/Al₂O₃ activity and stability by supplying oxygen. Genni revealed Rh deactivation on alumina occurs via a dissolution-driven RhAl_xO_y mechanism and that trace ZrO₂ improves activity. Alex demonstrated hybrid MLD synthesis of Mo-aminates, tuning active-site environment, stability, and HER performance.
